Salon owner or team member
- What we delete
- We delete your name, email address and role, unless your account has done something in the app that our database ties to your sign-in and does not let us remove. That includes confirming or cancelling a visit, approving a message, creating a calendar link and inviting a colleague. We also cannot delete the account of the only owner of an open salon.
- If the salon stops using EnqLayer Salon, the owner can ask us to delete the salon’s data. We delete what our database allows and tell you what we deleted and what we kept.
- What we keep
- Approval records (who approved what, and when) and records of messages already sent. Our database does not allow them to be changed or deleted. Other actions in the app, such as cancelling a visit, creating a calendar link or inviting a colleague, are also tied to the sign-in that did them. Because of this, we cannot currently promise to remove the account of a person who has confirmed or cancelled a visit, approved a message, created a calendar link or invited a colleague.
- An audit trail of actions in the app. While your account exists, the records of the permissions you gave in the app, as proof that a feature was used only with permission; if your account is deleted, they are deleted with it. Billing and tax records, for as long as the law requires.
- A record of your request and our reply. Server logs and backups at our providers, which are deleted or overwritten on their own schedules.
- Other companies
- Companies that process data for us, such as our email and AI providers, keep and delete copies under their own terms.
Client of a salon
- Ask your salon
- Your salon decides how your details are used. Ask the salon to delete your booking details. We run the booking system for the salon and act on its instructions.
- Records of approvals and of messages already sent cannot be deleted, so some of your details can stay in them.
- Or write to us
- Write to hello@enqlayer.com. We tell you who is responsible for your data and pass your request on to the salon. The salon replies to you directly, normally within one month.
- On your phone
- The client app keeps reference numbers, statuses and dates of your requests on your phone, and your language choice. To remove them, choose “Remove from this phone” under My visits in the client app, or clear the site data of your salon’s website in your browser settings. Removing a request from your phone does not cancel it.
